Nessum Alliance
The Nessum Alliance endeavors to create a full-fledged universal network society with a focus on consumer electronics and business applications. In this effort, the Alliance previously promoted the HD-PLC technology for Power Line Communication (PLC) and now has extended the technology beyond PLC to wireless and any media communication as new technology – "Nessum". This phase is supported by IEEE 1901TM Standards and is being adopted in several projects across the world, including the new IEEE 1901c standard, which will be out soon.
This webinar is being organized to bring together various stakeholders from industries, utilities, and academia who look to leverage wide areas of communication including high-speed PLC, wireless, and undersea communications. It will present Nessum’s case study, where communication compatibility assures “safe,” “easy,” and “any media” connectivity among Nessum networking devices, focusing particularly on the technical profiles and ecosystem using IEEE 1901.
