KL5BPLC250WMP is a Broadband Power Line Communication SoC with “Nessum Multi-hop”. It uses ITU-T G.9905, “Centralized Metric-based Source Routing (CMSR)” mechanism designed specifically to provide improved robustness, extended range, and wider coverage while putting a minimum load on the network. It also enables the creation of small form factor devices that consume very low power while providing high performance, and it is suitable for coaxial or other cables as well as power lines.
